The much anticipated event – MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) Signing for Post Graduate Diploma in Design Engineering (PGDDE) and Diploma in Design Engineering (DDE) Programmes took place in KCT today – 17th May 2019.

The Chief Guest of the day Shri. Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, Kumaraguru College of Technology and Mr. Veerabathraswamy, Centre Head, CMI – India signed and exchanged the MoU Documents.

During the day, Batch-1 DDE Programme was launched. 25 Students who were selected for the Programme after rigorous Recruitment Processes were given Offer and Admission Letters by the Guests of the function.

In his address, Shri. Shankar Vanavarayar spoke in detail about how Students can progress in the company by being focused and committed to the job role. Mr. Veerabathraswamy, during his speech, spoke about the company and career growth path for the fresh entrants.

Earlier in the day Dr. Prema Narasimhan, Director, Sakthi Excellence Academy made a speech in detail about DDE Programme. Mr. Laura Perkins, HR Manager, CMI, Mr. Muniaswamy, EO, KCT, Technical and HR Teams from CMI, KCT Faculty & Staff, PGDDE, DDE Students & their Parents were present during the occasion.

SEA Team led by Dr. Prema Narasimhan had a discussion with Functional Heads of ABT Maruti and ABT Parcel Services on 28 June 2019 at KCT. The discussion was related to developing Content for Leadership Training Module for 3 different hierarchical levels in ABT Limited. During the Session, the Functional Heads involved in an activity where they had to enumerate key areas for improvement in their domains which would help in improved efficiency in the workplace and improvement in workforce productivity. They made a presentation of key points which they consider important and need to be addressed in the Training Module.

PGDDE Students visited Government Schools in the nearby region namely Chinnavedampatti, Anjuganagar, Udayampalayam and NG Pudur for Health Profiling of School children on 4 July 2019. Heights and weights of about 450 School Children were measured and documented during the visit.The documented data will be used to analyze and understand the Nutritional aspects of the children. The activity was organized as part of an initiative by Namadhu Pangu and coordinated by SEA Staff.

Namadhu Pangu,Sakthi Excellence Academy has made the initiative of doing master health check-up for the Kumaraguru support staff who help us around to do our jobs better.

Namadhu Pangu,SEA and KCLAS celebrated Women’s day with support staff this various activities and competitions such as cooking, singing, kolam etc. were held to engage and encourage them to live a great life.

Students of KCT & KCLAS were reorganized for their contribution at the Community Centre of Kumaraguru at Udayampalayam.
